At Field and Forest our Cone Splitter technology is provided by OMEF and Deitmer.

The OMEF cone splitter effortlessly breaks down large pieces of timber and tree stumps to create manageable, useful pieces of timber for firewood processing, wood chipping or shredding, and biomass fuel creation. Hydraulically powered, this piece of equipment can be attached to excavators, forklifts and tractors.

Deitmer offer 3 different models. Besides a cone the spiral splitter can be easily removed and the base unit equipped with several other heads/accessories making it a truly versatile piece of machinery. Hydraulically powered cone splitters, breaks down large pieces of timber and tree stumps to create manageable, useful sizes for firewood processing, wood chipping or shredding and biomass fuel creation.
